Living the Gospel: An Assessment

Do you know the story of the particular community or culture that you are called to?  If you know the story, what are the barriers to the gospel?   Would you say that the unbelievers in your community would grieve the loss of your church if you were to “close the doors”?  What kinds of questions should be ask to become more effective in reaching people with the gospel?
